Multi station cold heading machine is an efficient forging machine that mainly uses sheet and bar materials as raw materials for standard parts, such as bolts, nuts, pins, steel balls and rollers, as well as complex shaped cold forming. (1) The diameter of steel bars or wires should meet the requirements of multi station cold heading machines, and steel bars (wires) that are too thick or too thin should not be cold headed;

(2) Within the allowable range of cold heading diameter in a multi-station cold heading machine, the position of the fixture (screw in or screw out) can be adjusted according to the required anchor head size, in order to obtain appropriate steel bar (wire) extension allowance;

(3) Within the 120-130mm area of the steel bar (wire) cold heading section, the multi-station cold heading machine must be rust removed and straightened;

(4) The end of the steel bar should be ground flat to ensure the accurate shape of the cold heading anchoring head of the multi station cold heading machine;

(5) After steel bar heading, the multi-station cold heading machine must undergo a tensile test to check whether the strength of the anchoring head is qualified.
